This is a very sad situation. My heart really goes out to Sandra.
This is a case where so many things on the “hidden ingredients” were similar, but there were more things on the “visible ingredients” that were disimilar! I’m thinking it was the “hidden stuff” that drew them together, and because it was so beautiful and felt so easy, that they thought they could just make it work, or, I’m guessing, she thought she could anyway, despite their lifestyle differences.

It is sad. I saw the awards and several other televised occasions when they’re together and I absolutely believe that Jesse loves Sandra, and there’s no doubt the Sandra loves Jesse. And while this is the kind of mostly “inner sameness” relationship that Seems and less frequently in this kind of heartbreak, there are many reasons why people cheat. I to often hear the opinion that people only cheat when they’re not getting their needs met in their primary relationship. It’s not necessarily that simple, because we’re talking about people. …Complicated people, whose varying experiences define them just as much as the unchangeable qualities that came with them and birth. While I’m not condoning the behavior of Jesse James, I’m also unwilling to say that I know what it’s like to be in his shoes. World-famous, perceived as sexy by women who want to touch that kind of power. Throw in a substance or two, impairing one’s judgment a little or a lot and it’s easy to imagine falling into the trap that Jesse James fell into. I feel badly for them both, for they may have both lost a great love in those acts of indiscretion.
